Cheyenne Neszo is an associate at Cochrane Sinclair of mixed Dakelh, Kānaka Maoli, and European ancestry, and a member of the Lheidli T'enneh Nation. She practises Indigenous law, public and constitutional law, administrative and regulatory matters, and class actions, and has represented clients before the Tax Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Canada, and the British Columbia Supreme Court. Her Master of Laws thesis from McGill University examined self-determination and self-government in the context of modern treaty fiscal taxation regimes. She clerked for the Honourable Justice Robert L. Barnes (ret.) at the Federal Court of Canada and has published on the Indian Act's tax provisions in the Lakehead Law Journal. Cheyenne holds a Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University and a Bachelor of Arts from Simon Fraser University, and is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia and the Indigenous Bar Association.
