About Celeste
Celeste Borja is a temporary articled student at Alexander Holburn Beaudin + Lang, which she joined as a summer student in May 2025. She is completing her JD at the Dalhousie University Schulich School of Law, where she has volunteered with the Dalhousie Wills Project through Pro Bono Dalhousie. Celeste holds both a Bachelor and Master of Social Work from the University of British Columbia and is a registered social worker in BC, with prior experience in both public interest and private practice settings. Her areas of interest include elder law, wills and estates, taxation, tort law, insurance law and trauma-informed legal practice. She has received the Nova Injury Tort Law Prize and the John L. Harris, Q.C. Memorial Scholarship, and worked as a summer researcher at the BC Law Institute drafting resources on trauma-informed legal writing.
