About Catherine

Catherine Leblanc is a partner practicing family law, the law of persons, and estates. She was admitted to the Barreau du Quebec in 2011 after completing her LL.B. at Universite Laval in 2008, and worked at Brodeur, Premont Lavoie avocats until December 2022, when she founded her own firm. Her practice covers divorce, separation, child custody and support, estates, tutorships, mandates of incapacity, and care orders. Catherine Leblanc appears regularly before the Court of Quebec, the Superior Court, and the Court of Appeal, though she favours alternative dispute resolution when appropriate, and is an accredited family mediator and collaborative family law practitioner. She has served on the board of the Association des familialistes de Quebec since 2012, including as president from 2017 to 2019 and again in 2023-24, teaches at Universite Laval and the Barreau du Quebec's bar school, and volunteers with Educaloi delivering legal information workshops in high schools.
