About Caroline

Caroline Gravel's practice has focused mainly on criminal and penal law since 2003. She has represented clients before the Superior Court of Québec and the Québec Court of Appeal, and her experience in provincial correctional law leads her to plead frequently before the Commission québécoise des libérations conditionnelles (parole board). She has also contested numerous administrative decisions of the Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ) concerning driving privileges, and represents professionals under investigation by their syndic or facing disciplinary charges before their professional order, as well as crime victims seeking information, support and representation through the criminal justice process. Caroline Gravel has served the Association québécoise des avocats et avocates de la défense (AQAAD) as vice-president (2010-2017 and 2022-2026) and as its Québec-region representative since 2008, and chaired the Barreau de Québec's daycare services committee from 2017 to 2021. In the community, she served on the board of CRC Le Pavillon (2015-2019) and was honorary president of the play '12 jurés en colère' in support of the Fondation de l'IUCPQ in 2016. She is a member of the AADQ, the AQAAD, and the Association des avocats et avocates en droit carcéral du Québec (AAADCQ).
