About Carlo

Carlo Di Carlo practises corporate, commercial, and regulatory litigation. He regularly handles director and officer liability claims, shareholder disputes, oppression remedy applications, and contractual disputes. Carlo has particular experience with securities law matters and has appeared before the Ontario Securities Commission on multiple occasions, acting for both OSC staff and respondents, including in section 11 investigations. He has also represented defendants in class actions involving alleged breaches of officers' duties and shareholder misrepresentation claims. Carlo has written on class actions and on issues of privilege and materiality for the Advocates' Quarterly, and he is active in the profession through roles with the Advocates' Society, the Ontario Bar Association's class actions working group, and the OBA Finance Committee.
