About Carl

Carl Consigny practises civil and commercial litigation at Savonitto, which he first joined in 2017 and rejoined in 2023 after a period in the civil service. He began his career as a research lawyer for the Quebec Court of Appeal, then worked in the Legal and Legislative Affairs Department of the Quebec National Assembly, drafting public bills and advising on access-to-information requests and confidentiality matters. His practice focuses on legal research and writing, and he has completed a postgraduate microprogram in legislative law at Université Laval and is pursuing further studies in environmental law. He holds an LL.B. from Laval University and was called to the Quebec bar in 2014.
