About Carina

Carina Chan is a partner at Burrison Hudani Doris LLP, practising exclusively in family law since her call to the Ontario bar in 2016. Her work spans property division, support and high-conflict parenting disputes, and she also represents children in family and child protection matters as a member of the Office of the Children's Lawyer's legal panel. Before joining the firm in early 2019, she articled at the Office of the Children's Lawyer and worked at a Toronto family law boutique. Chan holds combined Juris Doctor and Master of Social Work degrees from the University of Toronto, obtained in 2015, along with a University of Toronto B.A. She sits on the Family Law and Child and Youth Law section executives of the Ontario Bar Association, volunteers with the Family Justice Centre and Luke's Place, and serves on the Red Door Family Shelter's Board of Directors.
