Class ActionsCaleb Edwards is a senior associate with a wide-ranging commercial litigation practice, including significant work defending securities class actions and white-collar charges and responding to internal investigations. He also has experience with condominium-related litigation, having represented condominium corporations and owners in disputes with developers and neighbouring corporations. Caleb began his legal career in New York City, appearing in district, bankruptcy, and state courts, and worked at a Bay Street firm in Toronto before joining Charney Lawyers. He has represented directors, officers, and corporations in both Canada and the United States in class actions, insolvency-related litigation, and regulatory proceedings. While practicing in New York, Caleb provided pro bono representation to immigrants, tenants, criminal defendants, and welfare recipients, and in Toronto he serves on the board of the Ralph Thornton Community Centre. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2014, holds a J.D. from Columbia University and an LLM with distinction from University College London, and earned his B.A. from the University of Toronto.
