About Bruce

Bruce Davies is a retired partner who practised at Waterstone's Chilliwack office in real estate development, corporate commercial and business law, and commercial lending. He developed expertise in First Nations land development, acting for both development proponents and First Nations landowners, and represented lenders in a range of loan transactions from construction and term financing to multi-jurisdictional deals. He also represented businesses in sectors including agriculture and residential and commercial real estate development. Davies earned his LLB from the University of British Columbia in 1987, having studied Economics and Business Administration at Simon Fraser University from 1980 to 1984, and was called to the bar in 1988. He has contributed to the BC Personal Property Security Act Practice Manual and has lectured for Continuing Legal Education.
