About Brian

Brian Sweigman advises plan sponsors and administrators on pension and benefit plan governance, administration, design, and other regulatory matters. He also advises on pension and benefit issues that come up in corporate transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, and reorganizations, and he helps clients handle employment-related issues connected to purchase and sale transactions and employment transitions. In his trusts and estates practice, Sweigman represents and advises high-net-worth individuals, trustees, estate beneficiaries, and private corporations on estate planning, trust creation, corporate reorganizations, and will drafting. He regularly teaches the Pension Plan Administration Certificate program at Humber College, and he presents on trust management standards and pension plan asset investment for programs run by the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.
