About Brendan
Brendan O'Neill is a partner in the Restructuring Group at Goodmans, where O'Neill also heads the group and serves on the firm's Executive Committee. O'Neill's experience covers domestic, cross-border, and transnational corporate restructuring transactions and refinancings, spanning CCAA and CBCA proceedings, out-of-court workouts, mass tort restructurings, bankruptcy-based acquisitions and litigation, and investing in near-insolvency situations. O'Neill frequently leads matters for distressed-situation clients such as lenders, bondholders, creditors' committees, key shareholders, private equity investors, and the debtor companies themselves. O'Neill joined Goodmans in 2005 after several years in the Bankruptcy and Corporate Reorganization Department of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP in New York, practicing U.S. bankruptcy and restructuring law.
