Employment & Labour LawBrad Garside has practised at Paine Edmonds LLP since 1987. He is a senior member of the firm's ICBC & Personal Injury Law Group and chairs its Disability Insurance Law Practice Group, focusing on ICBC and personal injury claims, including complex and traumatic injuries such as chronic pain and brain injuries, as well as private disability insurance claims. He has trial experience at all levels of court in British Columbia and in alternative dispute resolution. In 2015, Brad and associate Kate Taylor tried a personal injury claim arising from a 2007 Greyhound bus accident on the Trans-Canada Highway near Hope, BC. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Victoria (1984) and a Bachelor of Laws from Dalhousie University (1987), and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1988. He lectures on Disability Insurance Law at continuing legal education conferences.
