About Ben
Ben Ingram was called to the bar as a member of the Law Society of British Columbia in 1990, after completing his Bachelor of Laws at the University of Victoria. He spent many years as a partner at a major national law firm, where he developed detailed knowledge of commercial and financial transactions as a commercial litigator, before shifting his practice to focus solely on family law for the past 18 years. Ingram has been a guest lecturer with the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia on family law topics and was a contributing author for Family Law Agreements: Annotated Precedents and the Family Law Sourcebook for BC. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association's BC Branch, the Trial Lawyers Association of BC, and the American Bar Association's Family Law and Law Firm Practice Management Sections. Ingram has appeared on family law matters before the Provincial Court, the Supreme Court, and the Court of Appeal of British Columbia, and has appeared as counsel twice before the Supreme Court of Canada.
