Civil Litigation & Dispute ResolutionAnsley is a partner practising in personal injury, insurance, disability (LTD, CPP-D), and civil litigation. She began her legal career as a legal assistant and paralegal while completing her Honours Psychology degree at Acadia University, then earned an academic scholarship to Dalhousie University's Schulich School of Law, graduating in 2009 and being called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2010. From 2010 to 2017 she built her personal injury practice at one of Halifax's larger firms, representing clients in claims ranging from motor vehicle and boating accidents to slip and falls, dog bites, and product liability. Ansley has argued successfully at all levels of court in Nova Scotia and in New Brunswick, and completed the Intensive Trial Advocacy Programme at the Universite de Moncton in 2012. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Atlantic Trial Lawyers Association, taught the Civil Procedures workshop at Dalhousie's Schulich School of Law from 2014 to 2017, and has served on the boards of the Dalhousie Law Alumni Association and the Metro Community Housing Association.
