About Angela

Angela Markakis founded Markakis & Co. in 2018 after 20 years practising as an associate and partner at established regional firms in Québec. She focuses on civil and commercial litigation and appears regularly before the Superior Court, the Court of Appeal, the Court of Québec, and various administrative tribunals. Her practice covers contractual breaches, commercial leasing and real estate, shareholder disputes, injunctive relief and safeguard orders, estate disputes, and employer-side employment matters involving senior executives. She also advises clients on strategic business matters both before disputes arise and in the regular course of business, and provides pro bono advice to local sport, cultural and educational organizations.
