About Andrew

Andrew Moffet is an associate lawyer at Checkpoint Law who joined the firm in August 2025. He has practised exclusively in family law since his articling days and works with clients to reach their desired outcomes. Andrew regularly appears in the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia and has run trials in both. He favours a balanced approach to resolving conflict, believing both parties can reach a successful outcome through agreement, and gives clients realistic advice so they can make informed decisions. Andrew handles parenting arrangements, child support and special expenses, guardianship, imputation, relocation, spousal support, property division, desk order applications, and divorce procedures, litigating before the Provincial and Supreme Courts when needed.
