About Andrew

Andrew Biderman chairs Torkin Manes' Banking & Financial Services Group and devotes his practice entirely to debt financing transactions. Over 25 years, he has advised public, private, and institutional clients on secured and unsecured lending, acquisition financing, syndicated and cross-border loans, asset-based lending, vendor-take-back arrangements, and divestitures within restructurings. He is known for understanding the dynamics between debtors and creditors and for representing either side of a loan transaction. Andrew earned his LLB from the University of Toronto and a BA with honours from Western University, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2000. He has been repeatedly ranked by Best Lawyers in Canada for his work in asset-based lending and banking and finance law.
