About Aman

Aman Gill practises corporate, financial services, and real estate law at Valiant Law, advising clients on complex transactions and regulatory matters. He holds a joint JD/MBA from the University of Toronto and began his career at McCarthy Tétrault LLP, training in corporate transactions, investment funds, and real estate. His work includes structuring private funds for institutional clients, general partners, and investors, among them a $920 million development fund for purpose-built rental housing, as well as acting for buyers and sellers in share and asset transactions across various industries. Aman also advises businesses on shareholder agreements and commercial contracts, represents both franchisors and franchisees, and handles debt financing including private mortgage lending and syndicated loans. Drawing on a background in public policy, he counsels clients on navigating regulatory changes at the municipal, provincial, and federal levels. He previously worked at a legal technology startup developing AI-powered legal research tools.
