About Alicia
Alicia Wood grew up in the Blue Mountains community, competing as a ski racer at Craigleith Ski Club and the National Ski Academy, and her family has lived in Thornbury for over 15 years. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Bishop's University and a Juris Doctor from Queen's University. Before moving permanently to the Blue Mountains in 2018, she worked as a lawyer at national and global law firms in Toronto and led the national in-house legal team at a large Canadian retail pharmacy and pharmaceutical services provider. She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and a Notary Public, and she sits on the Board of Directors for the Blue Mountains Chamber of Commerce.
