About Alex
Alex Kirschbaum is a family law lawyer and the owner of Kirschbaum & Co. She represents clients in the full range of family law matters, from domestic contracts to mediation and litigation, and has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court, and the Ontario Court of Appeal in jurisdictions across the province, including London/Middlesex, Ottawa, Kenora, and the East Region. She is a member of Legal Aid Ontario's Family Law and Child Protection Law Panels and accepts Legal Aid certificates for the most serious cases, and sits on the Office of the Children's Lawyer Personal Rights Legal Panel, regularly representing children's views and preferences. She writes on family law topics and has appeared in print and radio media, including the Toronto Star and the Ottawa Citizen. She graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2012, receiving the Honorable William G. C. Howland Award of Excellence and the Charles Edward Woodrow Award, and was called to the bar of Ontario in 2013.
