About Alanna
Alanna Crouse has a general civil litigation practice with a particular interest in constitutional law, administrative law, Aboriginal law, and criminal law. Her constitutional work involves Charter matters raising freedom of religion, freedom of expression, and equality rights, and her experience includes protecting the rights of unhoused people, advocating for compensation for wrongful convictions, and First Nation land rights claims. She has represented clients at the BC Supreme Court and Court of Appeal, the Federal Court, and the Saskatchewan Court of King's Bench and Court of Appeal, and before tribunals including the Human Rights Tribunal and the Environmental Appeal Board. She earned a Bachelor of Civil Law and Juris Doctor from McGill University in 2021, articled with and was an associate of Alison Latimer, KC, and was called to the bar in British Columbia in January 2023. She sits on the Board of Directors of the West Coast Legal Education and Action Fund.
