Akingbade Samuel Oluwarinu (known as Sam) earned his Bachelor of Laws at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria, and his Barrister-at-Law degree from the Nigerian Law School, followed by a Master of Laws from the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2007 and practiced extensively in civil litigation, property law, corporate and commercial law, oil and gas law, admiralty law, family law, and investment arbitration law with the firm of J.B. Majiyagbe SAN in Nigeria. He was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2019 and now practices in Victoria, assisting clients with real estate, immigration, and wills and estates matters. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (United Kingdom, Nigeria Branch).
