About Afshin
Afshin Yazdani is the founding lawyer of YLG (Yazdani Law Group) in Toronto, where his practice concentrates on business and investor immigration, including the Start-Up Visa program and provincial entrepreneur streams. His own page describes him as a Barrister and Solicitor of Ontario and a Notary Public. He earned an LL.M. from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University in 2016 and became a member of the Ontario bar in 2019. Before moving to Canada in 2012, he taught international law in Iran and worked as a legal consultant and university instructor in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He founded YLG in Toronto in 2019, and the firm has since added locations in Vancouver, Tehran, and Los Angeles. He has been consulted by media and government organizations on immigration law and policy topics.
