About Abena
Abena Wiafe earned her LLB with honours from Lancaster University in 2017 and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in March 2019 by the Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn. She completed a Master of Laws and the Bar Professional Training Course at BPP University in 2018, and completed the National Committee on Accreditation process through the University of Alberta in 2020. Before joining Kurie Moore Law Group in 2023, she worked at a firm practicing criminal and family law in Edmonton, representing clients in the Court of Queen's Bench and Provincial Court on family matters including property division, divorce, child support, and parenting issues. Her practice covers divorce, family law applications, child custody and access, child support, matrimonial and family property, marital and cohabitation proceedings, prenuptial and cohabitation agreements, separation agreements, spousal support, adoption, and guardianship.
