About Amanda

Amanda Baretta attended the University of Alberta Law School from 2008 to 2011, completed a composite article with Legal Aid Alberta and Cochard Johnson, and was called to the Alberta bar in 2012. She practices exclusively in family law and child protection law as a litigation lawyer, trained mediator and Collaborative Family Law practitioner, with experience representing children and youth in high-conflict matters and Indigenous communities in child protection proceedings. Amanda is a sessional instructor teaching family law at the University of Alberta Faculty of Law, sits on the Court of King's Bench Family Law Consulting Committee, and serves as a board member for Dogs With Wings Assistance Dog Society and the Just-Us Girls Justice Committee.
