P&M Personal Injury Law is a personal injury firm with a single office in Concord, part of the City of Vaughan just north of Toronto. The team includes five trial lawyers and four licensed paralegals who together handle car accident, slip and fall, and disability benefit claims, along with brain injury, wrongful death, and long term disability denial cases. The firm says it can offer legal representation in more than 10 languages, and it works entirely on a contingency basis: clients pay no more than 33% of any settlement or award, plus HST, and nothing upfront or by the hour. The lawyers studied at Osgoode Hall Law School, Queen's University, and the University of Toronto's Faculty of Law, and several began their careers on the insurance side before moving to represent injured claimants. On the paralegal side, the accident benefits practice is led by managing partner Vadim Malyshev, who has represented injured clients since 1998 and has personally handled more than 5,000 accident benefits claims through mediation, arbitration, and the Licence Appeal Tribunal. Court experience across the group spans the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court, and the Court of Appeal for Ontario.
