Judith Holzman Law Offices is a family law firm based in Maple, Ontario, a Vaughan community in York Region. Judith Holzman was called to the Ontario bar in 1978 after graduating from Osgoode Hall Law School, worked at small firms for five years, and opened an independent practice in 1983. Amanda Cohen, who was called to the bar in 2012 and brings a background in finance and economics, joined the practice in 2014. The firm now describes more than 40 years of continuous family law practice serving Vaughan, Markham, Newmarket, Woodbridge, Richmond Hill, Aurora, Toronto and the wider Greater Toronto Area.

The practice handles divorce and separation, parenting and custody, child and spousal support, property division, cohabitation and marriage contracts, and family adoptions, and it favors negotiation, mediation, arbitration and collaborative family law over litigation where that fits a client's situation. A distinct part of the practice is religious divorce, the Jewish get and the Muslim talaq. Judith Holzman was directly involved in the 1985 Ontario Family Law Act and 1987 federal Divorce Act amendments that let a court decline to hear or grant relief, such as support, property or custody claims, to a spouse who withholds a religious divorce until that spouse takes the necessary steps, and the firm applies that same rule regardless of which spouse is withholding consent.
