About ZSN Law

ZSN Law is a Toronto and Mississauga law firm co-founded by lawyers Sidra Naseem and Zohra Safi. It's a small, two-lawyer practice that concentrates on family law, refugee and immigration law, real estate law, and wills and powers of attorney. Naseem's practice centers on family law, including high conflict custody, access, and support matters, and has grown to include real estate and wills and estates work. Safi practices in refugee and immigration law, international humanitarian law, and human rights, and has represented clients before the Federal Court of Canada, the Social Justice Tribunals of Ontario, and divisions of the Immigration and Refugee Board. The firm keeps street addresses in Toronto and Mississauga; its website also lists Brampton, Oakville, Milton, and Newmarket as areas it serves, without a separate office address for those.

Both lawyers earned their law degrees from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law. Naseem also holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in psychology and political science from York University and completed a Public Interest Fellowship at Toronto's Integrated Domestic Violence Court. Safi studied at Middlebury College and in American University's International Peace and Conflict Resolution program in Washington, D.C., and articled with Legal Aid Ontario in criminal, family, refugee, and landlord tenant law. Both lawyers appear in Legal Aid Ontario's lawyer directory, so clients who qualify for a legal aid certificate can be represented at the firm.
