About Westgate Law

Westgate Law is a small Toronto firm that practices exclusively in corporate law and civil litigation, working with small to mid-sized companies, business owners, and professionals across Toronto, the GTA, and Ontario. Its office is on Eglinton Avenue East in midtown Toronto. The practice traces back to 2017, when founder Noah Singer opened it as Singer Business Law after time at a Toronto law firm and, before that, a stretch as a software developer. The firm later took the Westgate Law name and has kept its original focus on business formation, transactions, and disputes.

The corporate side handles mergers and acquisitions, shareholder and commercial agreements, business reorganizations, corporate governance, and external corporate counsel work for companies at every stage, including start-ups. The litigation side takes on commercial disputes, employment matters, estate litigation, and arbitration and mediation. One of the firm's litigators is a member of both the Law Society of Ontario and the Barreau du Quebec, is fluent in French, and clerked for a justice of the Supreme Court of Israel before moving into private practice in Toronto.
