Tanya Walker founded the practice in 2010 after leaving a Bay Street firm in the fourth year of practice, opening Walker Law with a part time assistant and a mandate that clients and staff would be treated fairly. Most of Walker's clients from the previous firm followed Walker to the new practice, and the firm has since grown into a team of seven lawyers, working alongside law students and support staff.
The firm concentrates on civil and commercial litigation, taking on contract, real estate, and construction disputes as well as franchise law, fraud litigation, and employment litigation for both employees and employers.
