Steinberg Law is the sole practice of Michael S. Steinberg, a Toronto barrister and solicitor called to the Ontario Bar in 1975. Steinberg holds a J.D. from the University of Toronto (1973) and a B.A. (Honours) from the University of Manitoba (1970). The practice is concentrated entirely on real property assessment and taxation, advising property owners, business owners, tenants, property managers, developers, and municipalities across Ontario.

The firm's work centres on assessment appeals for commercial, industrial, and multi residential properties, along with tax exemptions, rebates, and commercial lease disputes tied to property tax. Steinberg has appeared before the Assessment Review Board, the former Ontario Municipal Board (now the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal), the Environmental Appeal Board, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and the Ontario Court of Appeal. Steinberg is also a frequent writer and speaker on property taxation and assessment topics, having lectured through the Canadian Institute and the Law Society of Ontario's continuing legal education program.
