Sheridan, Ippolito is a small family and estates law firm at 2 Jane Street in Toronto, on the northwest corner of Jane Street and Bloor Street West. Joseph J. Sheridan and Linda M. Ippolito founded the firm and are its senior partners. Both were called to the Ontario bar in 1994 after finishing law degrees at Osgoode Hall Law School. The firm describes itself as having over 25 years of experience, and its practice stays concentrated on family law and estate matters, with an emphasis on resolving cases through negotiation, mediation, and collaborative practice rather than a trial. Sheridan is a panel lawyer for the Office of the Children's Lawyer and the Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee, and has served on the boards of not-for-profit organizations that support the arts and people in vulnerable circumstances.

Ippolito trained as a classical pianist at the Juilliard School and the University of Toronto's Faculty of Music before turning to law, then earned a Master of Laws in alternative dispute resolution and a Ph.D., both from Osgoode Hall Law School. Ippolito now teaches negotiation and dispute resolution at Queen's Law School and at Osgoode Hall Law School's professional development program, and wrote Music, Leadership and Conflict: The Art of Ensemble Negotiation and Problem-Solving, a book published by Palgrave Macmillan drawing on musical ensemble performance as a way to think about negotiation. The firm's small team also includes a senior law clerk who has worked there since 1999.
