About Sasitharan Law Professional Corporation

Sasitharan Law Professional Corporation is a small firm working out of a suite on Milner Business Court in Scarborough, in the east end of Toronto. The two lawyers who practice there, Vivekananthan Sasitharan and Rajabalini Sasitharan, both trained and were called to the bar in Sri Lanka before qualifying to practice in Ontario. The firm's work covers real estate, immigration and citizenship, family law, business law, and wills, estates and powers of attorney.

Both lawyers came to Canada as immigrants, and the firm points to that firsthand experience when it takes on immigration and citizenship files. Vivekananthan Sasitharan took the oath as an Attorney-at-law before Sri Lankan Supreme Court judges in December 2000 and practiced civil, criminal and commercial matters there, with some appearances reported in the Sri Lanka Law Report, before being called to the Ontario bar in January 2016. Rajabalini Sasitharan took the same oath in Sri Lanka in April 2001, worked as a legal officer at a bank and then a telecom company there, and was called to the Ontario bar in June 2017. Both remain Life Members of the Sri Lanka Bar Association and the Colombo Law Society.
