About Rose Law Firm

Rose Law Firm is a small Toronto practice with a second office in Burlington available by appointment. Founder David Rose was called to the Ontario Bar in 1994 and is also a licensed commercial real estate broker. Rose's areas of practice include business law, franchise law, hospitality law, commercial leasing, and residential and commercial real estate. The firm also covers employment law, family law, immigration law, civil and commercial litigation, and wills and estates.

The firm's two associate lawyers bring different paths into practice. Kavita Ramnanan completed a legal education in the United Kingdom, was called to the bar in Trinidad and Tobago in 2010, and worked there in subrogation and insurance law before moving to Canada in 2013 and being called to the Ontario Bar in 2014, with family law as a recent focus. Giuliana Oliva studied public relations and communications in Los Angeles before earning a law degree from Manchester Metropolitan University, then completed Canada's National Committee on Accreditation process and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2021, practicing in corporate and commercial law, wills and estates, and contracts. Rather than a walk-in office, the firm conducts appointments by video meeting.

The neighbourhood

Rose Law Firm's Toronto office is at 170 Chiltern Hill Road. The Burlington location is not a staffed branch: the firm's own contact page lists it as available for appointments on request. Consistent with that setup, appointments run by video meeting rather than in person, so clients in either city work with the same small team regardless of which office they book.
