About Riboldi Law Office

Riboldi Law Office is a small Toronto firm founded in 2008 by Sara Riboldi, who is dually qualified as a Canadian and an Italian lawyer, called to the Ontario bar in 2006 and admitted to the bar in Milan in 1999. The firm describes its philosophy simply: to work hard for clients' interests and provide the highest standard of representation it can.

The practice concentrates on estate law, Italian law, international business law and conflict of laws, generally for clients whose affairs span Canada and Italy. It positions itself as the only Toronto-based firm with in-house lawyers to handle matters touching both Italian and Canadian law, and it's regularly called on by other law firms for help with multi-jurisdictional estate issues. Riboldi also holds a diploma in Art Profession Law and Ethics from the UK's Institute of Art and Law, and the firm advises on copyright and title questions for art and cultural property, including estates where an art collection has to be settled.

Two counsel round out the practice. Rebecca Mori, admitted to the bar in Siena, Italy in 2007, handles immigration matters after earlier work at international tribunals in The Hague. Andrea Guerra, admitted to the Milan bar in 1998 and holding an LLM from Georgetown University Law Center, serves as M&A counsel, drawing on more than 20 years advising Italian and international companies on corporate and commercial matters.
