About Pileggi Law

Pileggi Law is a sole practitioner firm run by Vince A. Pileggi, a barrister and solicitor called to the Ontario bar in 1993, working from an office at 401 Bay Street in downtown Toronto. The practice covers a wide civil litigation docket: insurance litigation and coverage disputes, personal injury and slip and fall claims, product liability, professional negligence, construction litigation including lien matters, real estate and property disputes, municipal law, and corporate and commercial litigation. It also takes on criminal law and provincial offence matters, estate litigation, and collection and judgment enforcement work.

Pileggi holds a Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School (1991) and a Bachelor of Arts, Honours, from the University of Toronto, along with a Bachelor of Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education and a Master of Education from Mount Saint Vincent University. Training includes certificates in alternative dispute resolution, including advanced negotiation and mediation, and Pileggi has served as an instructor for the Advocacy Unit of the Law Society of Upper Canada's Bar Admission Course. Outside the private practice, Pileggi has worked as a per diem assistant Crown attorney at Toronto's Old City Hall, College Park, and 311 Jarvis Street courts. The firm also prepares wills and powers of attorney, handles estate administration, and offers mediation and arbitration, with services available in English, Italian, French, and Spanish.
