About Benjamin Law

Benjamin Law is a personal injury and long-term disability firm with offices in North York, Brampton, and Ajax, serving clients across the Greater Toronto Area. Anthony Stephen Benjamin was called to the Ontario Bar in 2001 and opened the practice in 2010. Before that, Anthony worked with the Financial Services Commission and the Ontario Attorney General's office, an experience that showed how insurance companies and lawyers sometimes treated claimants, including immigrants and visible minorities, and that shaped the firm's approach to representing clients.

Beyond personal injury and long-term disability, the firm handles employment law, real estate, wills and powers of attorney, notary services, and a Caribbean Pension and Labour Law Consultancy that advises individuals, corporations, and other lawyers on pension wind-ups and labour law questions across Caribbean jurisdictions including Jamaica, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, and the British Virgin Islands. Benjamin Law describes itself as a family-first firm and says it has recovered more than $60 million for over 3,500 families over 30 years.

The neighbourhood

Benjamin Law runs its head office from Finch Avenue West in North York, with a second office on Chrysler Drive in Brampton and a third on Kingston Road in Ajax. That spread puts the firm within reach of clients in the western, central, and eastern parts of the Greater Toronto Area without everyone having to travel to a single downtown location, which fits a personal injury and long-term disability practice where clients are often dealing with mobility or transportation limitations after an accident.
