Laredo Law Professional Corporation is a small Toronto firm founded in 2007 by Lisa Laredo, who built the practice around wills, estates, and estate administration, with real estate law as a second focus. Laredo holds the Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation from STEP Canada and belongs to the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, the Law Society of Ontario, and the Estate Planning Council of Canada. The firm works out of a suite on Davisville Avenue in midtown Toronto with a small team that currently includes an associate lawyer and a legal administrative assistant.

The estate planning side covers wills, trusts, powers of attorney for property and personal care, succession planning for business owners, and probate and estate administration, with an approach built around the idea that no two clients need an identical plan. Real estate work rounds out the practice, with the firm helping clients through what is often their largest transaction. The associate lawyer, called to the Ontario bar in 2024 after a law degree from Osgoode Hall, is working toward the TEP designation and speaks Spanish, and the legal administrative assistant trained in Dublin before joining the firm. Laredo has also been interviewed by The New York Times on intergenerational living arrangements and appeared on CBC News to discuss pre-construction real estate.
