KMM Lawyers is a small, multi jurisdictional firm with a Canadian office in Vaughan and a second office in Kenya. The firm describes itself as serving individuals, businesses, and organizations across Canada, the United States, and the Caribbean, alongside a Kenyan client base. Its founding partner, Miguna Miguna, earned a Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1993 and a Master of Laws from the same school in 2001, and was admitted to the Ontario bar in 1995. Miguna is also admitted to the Kenyan bar and practises as an advocate of the High Court of Kenya, which lines up with the firm's cross border client base.

Before starting the firm, Miguna articled at Roach, Schwartz and Associates, a Toronto civil rights law firm, and that background still shows in KMM Lawyers' caseload. The practice covers civil litigation such as contract disputes, professional negligence, and claims against public authorities, plus family law, criminal defence, and immigration applications. It also takes on constitutional law matters and disputes involving Indigenous land rights and self governance, along with wills, estate administration, and human rights claims. The firm says its team brings more than 50 years of combined legal experience to these files.
