About Hoffman Law

Hoffman Law is a small personal injury and disability law firm based in Toronto. It handles motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, accident benefits, long term disability, life insurance claims, nursing home negligence, product liability, boating and ATV accidents, and disputes with negligent insurance brokers. The firm works on a contingency fee basis, so clients don't pay unless a case succeeds, and it covers disbursements such as court filing fees, medical records, and expert reports as a claim moves forward, with limited exceptions in complex litigation such as medical malpractice or product liability where a retainer may be needed for an initial expert opinion.

Senior lawyer Jennifer Hoffman leads the firm after more than a decade at other personal injury practices in Toronto, and has been a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada since 2010. Hoffman holds an LLB/JD and a Master of Science in neuroscience, both from the University of Western Ontario, a combination the firm applies to brain and head injury claims. Lawyer Angela Broccolini joined after several years handling accident benefits claims from the insurance side of the industry, and now represents injured clients in statutory accident benefits disputes, drawing on that insurance-side background.

The office is on Roe Ave in Toronto, and the firm serves clients across the Greater Toronto Area and Ontario, including Ottawa, Kitchener, Waterloo, Sudbury, Sault Ste. Marie, and the Niagara Region.
