Green Economy Law is a small, Toronto based law firm with a second office in New York City. Marc Z. Goldgrub founded it in February 2020, after working as a junior associate at a New York entertainment and media law firm and completing a Global Professional LL.M. at the University of Toronto. Goldgrub was called to the New York bar in 2018 and to the Ontario bar in 2020.

The firm's corporate practice concentrates on two niches: startups and nonprofits in cleantech and the broader green economy, and businesses and regulated professionals working in Canada's emerging legal psychedelics sector, an area it also covers through PsychedelicLaw.ca, a public information site it operates. Its litigation side is different again: the firm represents tenants in disputes before Ontario's Landlord and Tenant Board and Divisional Court, and writes LTB Whisperer, a blog on housing law procedure that has drawn coverage from outlets including CBC and the Toronto Star.

The firm's New York office is staffed by its own New York licensed lawyers rather than functioning as a mailing address, letting it handle matters that cross the border. It also operates Law On Mars, a separate resource site the firm describes as covering outer space, Moon and Mars law, an area it does not currently practice but tracks through a monthly newsletter.
