Grant-Nicholson Law is a Toronto based law practice and consultancy that focuses on estate and mental health legal services. Grant-Nicholson Law Professional Corporation operates out of 2 Bloor Street West in downtown Toronto and serves clients across the Greater Toronto Area and Hamilton. The firm was founded by A.J. Grant-Nicholson, who was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2013 after earning a Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law and a Bachelor of Science with Honours from the University of Toronto.

Before founding the practice, Grant-Nicholson worked as a mental health staff lawyer at Legal Aid Ontario, described by the firm as the first position of its kind in the province, representing clients before the Consent and Capacity Board and acting as duty counsel at a forensic psychiatric hospital and in mental health court. Grant-Nicholson went on to lead Legal Aid Ontario's Mental Health Strategy, working across the justice and health sectors. The practice now combines legal representation in capacity, guardianship, and mental health related criminal matters with wills and powers of attorney, along with consulting work for healthcare providers and community organizations. The founder's interest in the field traces back to a grandmother, Beverly Folkes, a social justice activist.
