About Giratta Law

Giratta Law is a small Toronto law firm that Abel Giratta founded in 2017. The office is at 40 Wynford Drive in North York, and the firm takes on real estate, immigration, family, business, and wills and estates matters for clients across Ontario. Giratta earned a Bachelor of Laws in 2012, then articled and worked as an associate at a personal injury law firm before opening the practice in 2017. Since then, the lawyer has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Justice, the Federal Court, the Immigration Appeal Division, Ontario's Financial Services Commission, and the License Appeal Tribunal.

The rest of the small team brings a similarly wide range of backgrounds. One of the firm's lawyers earned a law degree from Addis Ababa University's Faculty of Law in 1985 and a JD from the University of Windsor's Faculty of Law in 2003, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2005, with a practice built around family and immigration law. Between the lawyers, a law clerk, and a legal assistant, the office isn't limited to English: staff also work in French, Persian, Amharic, Tigrigna, and Afaan Oromo. The firm offers a free initial consultation to prospective clients.
