Virtual appointmentsRistich Law is a personal injury firm based in Etobicoke, with satellite offices in Whitby and Ottawa. It limits its practice to personal injury and disability claims: motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall cases, brain and spinal cord injuries, severe orthopedic injuries, psychological injury claims, chronic pain, long term disability, and wrongful death claims. Managing partner Slavko Ristich was born and raised in Scarborough, earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto, then spent 12 years in the United States before returning to Toronto in 2009. Ristich practiced as a trial lawyer in New York City starting in 2001, remains licensed in New York State courts and the U.S. federal courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and was a director of the East Coast Chapter of the Serbian Bar Association. Ristich was called to the Ontario bar in 2010.
Partner Christine Boulos earned a law degree from the University of Windsor and was called to the Ontario bar in 2011, appearing before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, the Canada Pension Review Tribunal, and the Social Benefits Tribunal. The firm works on contingency, so clients owe nothing unless a settlement or award is recovered, and it offers in home consultations for clients who can't travel to an office.

Free consultationThe firm's Etobicoke office sits on Dundas Street West, one of the corridors that runs the length of the old City of Etobicoke before it amalgamated into Toronto. Rather than trying to be a general practice for that neighbourhood, Ristich Law has kept its focus narrow, personal injury and disability claims only, and used that focus to justify opening beyond Etobicoke into Whitby and Ottawa, so clients in those areas can meet a lawyer without traveling into downtown Toronto.
That same logic shows up in how the firm handles clients who are too hurt to travel at all. Because serious injury cases often start in a hospital room or a client's home rather than a boardroom, Ristich Law offers in home consultations for clients who cannot travel to an office, an approach suited to a practice built around motor vehicle, spinal cord, and brain injury claims rather than routine transactional work.
