About ColemanLex Lawyers

ColemanLex Lawyers is a small firm on Bay Street in downtown Toronto that advises business owners and incorporated professionals. The practice is built around three core areas, business law, professional corporations, and business succession planning, supported by dispute advisory, wills, estates and trusts, and business immigration. Rather than treating these as separate silos, the firm works to line up corporate structure, tax planning, and governance so a client's legal setup holds together as the business grows, brings in partners, or eventually changes hands, and it coordinates with each client's accountant along the way.

The firm's principal lawyer, Colleen Coleman Wright, began practicing law in 2011 and is dual licensed in Ontario, admitted in 2020, and in Jamaica. Legal training includes a Bachelor of Laws from the University of London and a Certificate of Legal Education from Norman Manley Law School in Jamaica, followed by requalification in Canada through the National Committee on Accreditation. A second lawyer at the firm, Ronak Arora, was admitted to the Ontario bar in 2024 after an earlier bar admission in India and brings a background in international commercial arbitration. The team also includes a law clerk and a licensed Canadian immigration consultant who supports the firm's business immigration files.

It's connected to the Eaton Centre across Queen Street and sits in the stretch of Bay Street that anchors Toronto's financial district, home to the major banks and much of the city's corporate and commercial law bar, a fitting address for a firm built around business law, professional corporations, and succession planning.
