Chsherbinin Litigation is a Toronto litigation practice run by Nikolay Chsherbinin, who opened the firm in 2011 after spending a number of years at a Toronto labour and employment firm. The practice now concentrates on three connected areas: employment and labour disputes, immigration and citizenship litigation, and civil litigation before Ontario and federal courts and tribunals, including the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Canadian and Ontario Human Rights Tribunals, and the Federal Court of Canada.
Chsherbinin holds a Bachelor of Laws from Windsor Law (2008) and a Master of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School (2010), was called to the Ontario bar in 2009, and completed an advanced negotiation program at Harvard Law School in 2013. Chsherbinin is the author of The Law of Inducement in Canadian Employment Law (Carswell, 2012) and Application for Leave and for Judicial Review (LexisNexis Canada, 2023), along with more than 100 articles published in outlets like The Advocates' Quarterly, Law Times, Canadian HR Reporter, and Canadian Employment Law Today. The firm's site also carries Russian language pages, indicating services are available in Russian as well as English.
