Camp Advocacy Professional Corporation is a solo litigation practice in Toronto run by James B. Camp, who set up the firm to focus on resolving disputes in capital markets and financial services, professional liability and discipline, and commercial real estate. Camp was called to the bar in Ontario and admitted to the New York State Bar in 2006, after earning an LL.B. in 2004 and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 2001, both from the University of Western Ontario.

Before opening the firm, Camp's articling term included a nine month secondment to the Ontario Securities Commission, assisting on the trial of an insider trading and misleading disclosure prosecution. Camp then worked as an associate at Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP and at Wardle Daley Bernstein Bieber LLP before launching an independent practice. That mix of regulatory, national firm, and smaller firm experience now supports a practice that has argued cases before every level of court in Ontario, the British Columbia Supreme Court, and tribunals including the Ontario Securities Commission, IIROC, and the Licence Appeal Tribunal, along with domestic and international arbitrations.
