About BLP Law Professional Corporation

BLP Law Professional Corporation is a downtown Toronto firm devoted to corporate and securities law, founded and run by principal Brian L. Prill. The clients it's set up for are mining companies, technology-based organizations, and other law firms and lawyers who need help with securities questions.

Prill took an unusual road to law. Over more than fifteen years as an electrician, Prill worked across the trade, including five years in Fort McMurray, Alberta, a stint as a union representative handling disputes, and time running an electrical contracting business. Ten more years in private business as a sales manager and trainer came before law school.

Prill has practised corporate and securities law in Toronto since 2001 and has been focused on BLP Law since 2012. Earlier roles include associate lawyer at Torys and partner at both McLean & Kerr and Blaney McMurtry.

Today the practice spans corporate finance and securities transactions of every kind. Prill also keeps a second office in Mississauga, and new inquiries come in by email or through the firm's website.
