Andrew Burgess Law is a sole-practitioner firm in Toronto focused on criminal, civil, and regulatory litigation. Andrew Burgess set up the practice after working at larger Toronto firms, and it now handles trials and appeals at every level of court in Ontario as well as in other provinces. The firm has appeared as counsel at the Supreme Court of Canada more than once and has argued dozens of appeals at the Ontario Court of Appeal. Matters range from serious criminal charges such as murder, drug trafficking, and financial crimes to civil disputes over securities, fraud, trusts, estates, defamation, and shareholder remedies, plus quasi-criminal regulatory defence covering land use, construction, fire safety, environmental charges, and professional discipline hearings.

Before opening the firm, Andrew Burgess clerked for Chief Justice McLachlin at the Supreme Court of Canada after graduating from law school at the top of the class, then worked in criminal defence at Addario Law Group LLP and in commercial litigation at Stikeman Elliott LLP. An undergraduate degree came from the University of Toronto and a law degree from the University of British Columbia. Burgess has also taught trial advocacy at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and has represented civil liberties organizations in constitutional cases, including at the Supreme Court of Canada. The firm offers service in English and French.
