History
John J. Aikins articled in 1982 and 1983 for Justice John Wilkins, before Wilkins was appointed to the Superior Court of Justice, and then joined Brown, Forbes, Chochla Burnes and Aikins, first as an employee and later as a partner. In 1997 Aikins was one of the founding partners of Forbes Chochla Aikins LLP and went on to manage that firm.
Aikins left Forbes Chochla Aikins in 2012 to set up a trial-focused firm with Austin Riley. Law clerk Margie Smith worked with Riley + Aikins before Aikins Law.
